I really want to have a chance to turn back time to see what the SUTC was in the 1980s,and explore the fantastic die-casting world which created by matchbox.Thank you for the detailed explanation of this priceless vehicle.I guess I can only 'image' this car,that's what we poets do,LOL.Recently I have received two matchbox 10 pack sets,and they all made by Zhuhai Yongtai.I am sure you can see one from my last topic,and the other set is a little different as the Bandag Bandit(084) is replaced with AMX Pro-Stocker(117) on purpose.Vehicles in these 2 sets have also very interesting die-casting bases.But as a native Shanghainese,I really hope I can collect all the products produced by SUTC,it means a lot to me,and I am sure you can understand.

呵呵，你的套装里可能还有台白色的MB6 Mercedes 350 SL敞篷车同样也是极品，目前已知唯一的中国版。这个时期的车既有环球也有永泰，但是环球是出口方，因此某些品种从珠海调运到上海环球包装并出口。外国人只知道都是Made in China，但是我们自己却知道其中的质量差异和背后的价值。

是的，Mercedes 350 SL Convertible 两台一模一样。但都有一点不尽如人意的地方，油漆未干就装配进去，两台车上都有红色的手印子。。。
